    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: 23 June 2026

    1. Introduction

JI Solutions ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the jisolutions.com.au website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your information.

    2. What We Collect

We only collect personal information that you submit through our contact form, plus minimal technical data needed to operate the site securely.

Information you submit via the contact form:

    • Name
    • Email address
    • Company name (optional)
    • Project type
    • Message content you choose to provide

    Technical information collected automatically:

    • IP address (recorded by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention)
    • Browser characteristics, device signals, and behavioural signals processed by our bot-protection layer to verify that form submissions are made by humans rather than automated scripts

We do not currently use website analytics, advertising trackers, marketing cookies, payment forms, or user accounts. The website does not set tracking cookies. The only browser storage used is what is required to render the page and load fonts.

    3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes:

    • Responding to your enquiry and discussing potential services
    • Providing software development and consultancy services if you become a client
    • Communicating with you about projects you have engaged us for
    • Protecting the website from spam and abusive submissions
    • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it to send marketing communications unless you separately and expressly opt in.

    4. Service Providers and Overseas Transfers

To operate the website and deliver contact-form submissions, we rely on a small number of trusted third-party service providers. Each is bound by their own privacy commitments and applicable data protection laws. We use these providers for the following purposes:

    • Website hosting and bot protection — serves the site, runs the contact-form backend, and helps us distinguish humans from automated scripts. May process your IP address, request metadata, and signals about your device and browser.
    • Email delivery — transmits contact-form submissions from the website to our inbox. Receives your name, email, company, project type, and message for the sole purpose of delivering that one email.
    • Business email — receives and stores the delivered emails in our Australia-hosted business inbox.

Some of these providers are headquartered overseas, which means submitting the contact form may involve a transfer of your information to recipients outside Australia. By submitting the form, you consent to that transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. Email at rest is held within Australia.

We can provide the names of our current providers on request — please contact us using the details below.

    5. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. The website is served exclusively over HTTPS, contact-form submissions are validated and rate-limited at the edge, and our service providers operate in compliance with industry-standard security frameworks. No system is perfectly secure, and you transmit information at your own risk.

    6. Data Retention

What we don't keep: the website itself does not store anything. The contact-form backend is stateless — once your submission is processed and emailed to us, it is not retained on our infrastructure. We do not operate a customer database, CRM, or marketing list.

What we keep: contact-form submissions arrive in our Australia-hosted business inbox at admin@jisolutions.com.au and remain there for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry. If we engage on a project together, we retain related correspondence for the duration of that engagement and a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping and legal compliance. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not legally required to retain it, we will do so within a reasonable time.

    7. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to:

    • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
    • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
    • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal obligations
    • Withdraw any consent you have given for processing
    • Lodge a complaint about our handling of your personal information

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within 30 days.

    8. Cookies and Tracking

The website does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. The bot-protection layer on the contact form may use a temporary cookie or local storage entry strictly necessary for bot protection; this is not used to track you across sessions or sites. If we add web analytics or similar tracking in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, request your consent.

    9. Third-Party Links

The website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site before providing personal information.

    10. Notifiable Data Breaches

In accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if a data breach involving your personal information is likely to result in serious harm to you.

    11. Children

Our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through the contact form, please contact us and we will delete it.

    12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we use, or legal requirements. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated more prominently where appropriate.

    13. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first using the details below. We will investigate and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
